Bryan Hennessey was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland in 1949. After attending St. Patrick’s Hall, Brother Rice High School and Memorial University, he embarked on a twenty-year career as a professional musician.

In 1984, he began a second career as an actor in theatre and films including his role as “Calvin Pope” on the TV series Gullage’s. From 1990 to 1992, he served as Artistic Animateur of the Resource Centre for the Arts Theatre Company.

As his third profession as a writer, he is the author of Counting Gifts and BeatleLove. He is also the co-author of three stage plays – “Hanlon House”, “Murder at the Royal Cafe” and “The Gingerbread Men”.
